LAUNCHING INTO LEARNING NEWS
We have had very good attendance at Lil which is fantastic. Last week we started creating a ‘bush tucker garden’ in the upper Kinder outdoor environment. This supports children to be culturally aware and learn about Aboriginal cultures and the importance of native plants. It provides children with hands on learning opportunities and fosters team work as well as communication amongst the group. It encourages children to care for and tend to the outdoor environment and the role that plants play. It provides a deeper connection to nature, Country and cultural heritage.
