11-12 Extension School

The 11-12 sector at St Marys District School is designed to provide individualised support for each student to achieve success.  Students enrol in a range of TASC courses, participating in a mix of face-to-face and online VLT (Virtual Learning Tasmania) courses.  Year 11-12 students are also supported to explore a range of individualised opportunities supporting their future pathway.  These include:

• School based apprenticeships
• Dual enrolments with another educational facility such as Newstead or Launceston College or the Break O’Day Trade Training Centre (St Helens District High School)
• Full time enrolment at St Marys District School
• VLT/SMDS enrolment
